The docs, on the house design

Docs

The docs share one design with the other house sites: one page shell, search that leaves the keyboard alone, and the SCIM base URL on api.thequantumclub.com.

The documentation now uses the same design as the other house sites (System Status, the Trust Center, the MCP server and the API): the same header and footer, and the same type, Inter with Instrument Serif for one accent word and Fragment Mono for code, on black. The June entry below describes the design this one replaces.

  • One page shell. Every page has one header, one main area, one breadcrumb, and a skip link to the content. The light theme keeps its paper colour when you move from page to page.
  • Finding things. The home opens on four doors: members, hiring teams, IT and security, and developers. Club Booking is in the main navigation. Each section opens on a landing page with its guide count and a search scoped to it. Search covers the full text of every page, says when its index is loading or did not load, and /search lists every page without JavaScript.
  • Keyboard. Typing a letter on a page no longer opens a dialog. ⌘K opens search, and every focus stop shows where focus is.
  • Phones. The menu is a full-screen panel, and pages fit the screen without scrolling sideways.
  • API. The API reference is a static page generated from the OpenAPI document. The SCIM base URL is now https://api.thequantumclub.com/scim/v2; the previous supabase.co address is still answering. The docs MCP page lists no server address until the server has one on a thequantumclub.com host.
  • System Status. The footer shows the status in words whenever it is not "All systems operational".
