Interview scheduling
Use the same booking engine for hiring — let candidates book themselves on an interview link, or have a scheduler arrange it for them.
Hiring interviews run on the same Club Booking engine as every other meeting, so the availability, calendars, reminders, and meeting rooms you already know apply to candidates too. There are two ways an interview gets on the calendar.
Two ways to schedule
Candidate self-booking
Share an interview booking link and the candidate picks a time that is genuinely open against the host's availability. The interview lands on the host's calendar, and the candidate gets the same confirmation and reminders as any guest. This removes the email thread entirely — the candidate schedules themselves.
Concierge scheduling
When a candidate should not be left to self-serve, a scheduler arranges the interview directly — choosing the interviewer and the time on their behalf. The booking lands on the interviewer's calendar, and the candidate's application advances to reflect the scheduled interview.
What rides along
Because interviews are bookings, everything Club Booking does for a meeting applies:
- Real availability — slots are computed against the host's connected calendars, so an interview never lands on a busy time. See Availability.
- A Quantum Meetings room when the link creates one, so a video interview has somewhere to happen the moment it is booked.
- Reminders before the interview, for both sides. See Reminders and no-shows.
How it ties into hiring
An interview booking is connected to the candidate's application, so scheduling an interview moves the candidate forward in your pipeline rather than living in a separate calendar tool. The mechanics here are the booking half; for the hiring workflow around it — pipeline stages, interviewers, and what the candidate sees — that lives in the hiring section of the product.
Same engine, hiring context
Interview links are booking links with a candidate and an application attached. If you understand how a booking link works, you already understand how interview scheduling works.
