Availability
Understand exactly how Club Booking decides which slots a guest can see — your hours, your buffers, and your real calendar busy time.
Availability is the rule that decides which times a guest is offered. Club Booking starts from the hours you keep, removes everything you are already committed to, and shows only what is left.
What you set
Your availability settings apply across your booking links:
- Working hours and days — the window you take meetings, day by day. Defaults to 09:00–17:00, Monday through Friday.
- Slot interval — how finely slots are offered, 30 minutes by default.
- Buffers — default padding before and after meetings, which individual links can override.
- Booking window and minimum notice — how far ahead and how close to now bookings are allowed.
- Timezone — your home timezone, used to anchor every slot.
How a slot is computed
When a guest opens your booking page, Club Booking works through your day in order:
Start from your hours
Only times inside your working hours and available days are candidates. Everything else is off the table before anything is subtracted.
Subtract your buffers and existing bookings
Buffer time and other bookings on the link block the slots they touch, so back-to-back collisions cannot happen.
Subtract your connected calendars
If you have connected Google or Microsoft, Club Booking reads your busy time and removes any slot that overlaps an event — across every calendar you have told it to check, not just your primary one. Your Quantum Meetings already on the books are blocked too.
Apply your limits
Slots inside your minimum notice, past your booking window, or beyond a daily cap are dropped. What remains is what the guest sees.
Timezones
Guests book in their own timezone. Club Booking shows them slots translated to where they are, then stores the booking against your timezone so the event lands correctly on both sides. Neither of you has to do the math.
Busy time across calendars
The point of connecting a calendar is that a slot you are busy in never gets offered. Club Booking checks your connected calendars live at the moment a guest looks, so a meeting you added five minutes ago is already subtracted.
No connected calendar?
Without a connection, Club Booking still works — it just cannot see events outside The Quantum Club. It will offer any slot inside your hours that is not already booked through a link, so keep your hours tight or connect a calendar. See Connect your calendar.
