Payments
Require payment at the time of booking so a slot is only held once the guest has paid through Stripe Checkout.
For paid sessions, Club Booking can collect payment as part of booking. Turn it on for a link and the guest pays before the slot is held — no invoicing, no chasing.
Turn on payment for a link
A booking link can require payment. When you set it, you choose:
- An amount for the session.
- A currency the guest is charged in.
With payment required, the booking is not held until the guest has paid.
How the guest pays
When a guest books a payment-required link, Club Booking sends them to a Stripe Checkout page to pay the amount you set. Payment is collected through Stripe, so card details are handled by Stripe and never by the booking page itself. Once the payment goes through, the booking is confirmed and follows the same path as any other — calendar event, confirmation, reminders, and a meeting room if the link creates one.
On a paid link, the slot belongs to the guest only after they have paid — so a confirmed paid booking is always a paid one.
Payment is per link
Requiring payment is a setting on each booking link, not an account-wide switch. Keep your free intro link free and charge only on the links where it makes sense.
