My passkey is not offered or does not work

Likely cause: you are on a device or browser profile where the passkey was never created, or the passkey was removed. Fix: choose More ways to sign in and use another method — magic link or password — to get in. Then go to Security and add a passkey for this device. If a passkey you expect has disappeared from the list, it was removed; enroll a new one. Keeping passkeys on two devices prevents this entirely.

The magic link never arrives, or says it is invalid

Likely cause: the email landed in spam, the link expired — magic links expire in one hour — or you requested several links in a row and hit the rate limit. Fix: check spam and search your inbox for The Quantum Club. If the link is older than an hour, request a fresh one and open the newest email only — each new request supersedes earlier links. If you see a rate limit message, wait the indicated minutes before requesting again. Open the link in the same browser you want to stay signed in on.

My password is rejected

Likely cause: a typo, or the email and password genuinely do not match. Fix: retype carefully (check caps lock), or use Forgot password? to reset. If you never set a password — many members sign in only with passkeys or magic links — use a magic link instead. Repeated failures temporarily lock the account for security; wait a few minutes before retrying. If you are fully locked out, the five recovery methods get you back in.

My approval is taking a long time

Likely cause: review is human and queue depth varies — a few business days is normal. Longer waits usually mean an incomplete dossier or an unverified email. Fix: sign in and confirm every onboarding checkpoint is complete, and that you verified your email address. If both are done and you are well past a week, reply to your onboarding email so the team can check your review. Meanwhile, the waiting time is usable — see The approval journey.

The meeting will not connect

Likely cause: a restrictive network (corporate VPN, strict firewall) or an unstable connection blocking the call from establishing. Fix: reload the meeting link first. If it still fails, switch networks — off the VPN, or from mobile data to Wi Fi — and try a different browser. If you remain stuck moments before an interview, tell the host immediately; meetings can be rejoined as soon as you connect.

My camera or microphone is blocked

Likely cause: the browser permission was denied — often by an accidental click on "Block" — or another app is holding the camera. Fix: you do not need to fix it to get in — choose Join Anyway to enter with devices off. To restore them: open the browser's site settings for the meeting page, set Camera and Microphone to Allow, close other apps using the camera, and reload. Full walkthrough: Join a meeting.

Emails from The Quantum Club are not arriving

Likely cause: spam filtering, a corporate mail gateway quarantining the messages, or the notification type is switched off. Fix: search all mail folders for The Quantum Club and mark a found message as Not Spam. Add the sender to your contacts. Then check Settings — confirm Email Notifications is enabled, the specific types you expect are on, and Quiet Hours or digest frequency is not deferring them. On a work address, ask IT whether the messages are quarantined, or switch your account to a personal address.

My application status has not updated

Likely cause: nothing has changed yet on the company's side — screening and interview stages routinely sit unchanged for days or weeks. Fix: check the application's timeline for the date of the last real event before assuming something is stuck. Stage changes appear there as they happen and notify you through your enabled channels. If a status contradicts reality — you completed an interview but the stage never moved — ask your Talent Strategist to check with the company. Statuses explained: Apply and track.
