Connect your calendar
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook so interviews land on real availability — and conflicts surface before you pick a time.
Prerequisites: a Google or Microsoft work account you can authorize. Calendar connections are personal — each interviewer connects their own calendar.
Open calendar settings
Sign in at os.thequantumclub.com and open your account settings, then find the calendar sync section under your connections.
Choose your provider
Select Google Calendar and complete the Google authorization screen. Grant calendar access so The Quantum Club can read availability and create events.
Select Outlook and complete the Microsoft sign-in. Grant calendar access so The Quantum Club can read availability and create events.
Verify the connection
After authorizing, the calendar shows as connected in your settings. Interview scheduling now reads your availability from this calendar.
What syncs
- Interview events — interviews scheduled through The Quantum Club, including Quantum Meetings sessions, appear on your connected calendar with the meeting details.
- Availability — your busy times flow back into the platform, so candidates and teammates are only offered slots you can actually take.
- Updates and cancellations — reschedules and cancellations made in the platform update the calendar event.
Conflict prevention
The point of the sync is that scheduling decisions are made against your live calendar, not a stale copy:
- Slots that overlap an existing event are not offered when interviews are booked.
- If you block focus time or take a day off in your calendar, the platform respects it without any extra configuration.
- For panel interviews, availability is checked for every connected interviewer, so a slot is only offered when the whole panel is free.
Keep one source of truth
If an interviewer declines or moves an event directly in their calendar without updating the platform, the candidate still sees the original time. Reschedule from within The Quantum Club so both the candidate and the calendar stay in sync.
