Connect Slack and Microsoft Teams
Put hiring activity in the channels your team already watches — Slack or Microsoft Teams, connected in a few steps.
Prerequisites: admin-level access in your partner workspace, and permission to install apps in your Slack workspace or Teams tenant (your IT team may need to approve this).
Open the Integrations hub
Go to the Partner Hub and select the Integrations tab (https://os.thequantumclub.com/partner/hub?tab=integrations).
Connect your messaging platform
Find the Slack card — described as "Real-time notifications and updates" — and select Connect Slack. Complete the authorization in your Slack workspace.
Find the Microsoft Teams card — described as "Collaboration and notifications" — and select Connect Microsoft Teams. Complete the authorization in your Microsoft tenant.
Configure and verify
Once connected, the card shows Active with its sync details. Use Configure to adjust the connection, and confirm a test notification arrives where you expect it.
Which notifications arrive where
Connected messaging platforms receive the hiring activity your team needs to act on quickly — new candidates entering the pipeline, stage changes, and team activity updates. In-app and email notifications continue to work alongside the messaging integration; the channel notification is the fast path, not a replacement for the candidate record.
A practical setup that works for most teams:
- A shared hiring channel for pipeline activity, so anyone can pick up an unowned candidate.
- Direct alerts for owners — the person responsible for first response acts on notifications immediately; response time is tracked on your SLA dashboard.
Notifications carry candidate data
Hiring notifications can include candidate names and role details. Route them to private channels limited to your hiring team, not to company-wide channels.
