Run interviews
Run a scheduled interview in Quantum Meetings — consent-gated recording during the call, AI analysis waiting when it ends.
Prerequisites: a scheduled interview (see Schedule interviews); a browser with camera and microphone access.
Join and run the interview
Join from the meeting link
Open the meeting at its scheduled time. Quantum Meetings runs in the browser — no installation for you or the candidate. Candidates join from their side of the platform; external guests can join from a share link without an account.
Check your setup
Confirm your camera and microphone before entering. In the room you have the standard controls — mute, camera, and screen share — for walking through materials or exercises.
Run the conversation
The room is built for 1:1 and panel interviews with direct, full-resolution video. Larger group sessions are supported as well.
Recording and consent
Recording is host-controlled and consent-gated:
- When recording is enabled, participants see Recording Consent Required before it starts, with the stated purpose — the meeting is recorded for quality and training purposes — and whether their video feed is included.
- While recording runs, everyone sees a persistent banner: the meeting is being recorded, and all participants have agreed to be recorded.
- Recording settings let the host control video quality, format, and audio options.
Consent is not optional
Do not start an interview recording without the candidate's consent acknowledged in the room. If a candidate prefers not to be recorded, run the interview unrecorded and rely on your scorecard.
After the interview: recordings, transcripts, and AI analysis
Once the meeting ends, the platform processes what consent allowed:
- Recordings are available to review and to share internally with controlled links — you set who can view and when the link expires, and you can cut shareable clips from key segments.
- Transcripts make the conversation searchable: find the exact exchange by searching transcripts, summaries, and quotes instead of rewatching an hour of video.
- AI analysis summarizes the conversation, so interviewers who were not in the room get the substance quickly through your meeting intelligence views.
Use these as input to your scorecard, not a replacement for it — the scorecard remains the structured record your hiring decision stands on.
