When to use an instant meeting
Scheduled interviews carry process — calendar sync, interviewer assignment, scorecards. An instant meeting is for everything that should not wait for process: a screening call that came together in chat, a debrief right after an interview loop, or a quick conversation with a candidate's referee.
Create a Quick Meeting
Create the instant meeting
From Quantum Meetings, choose Create instant meeting and select Quick Meeting (1 hour). The room exists immediately — no scheduling step, no calendar required.
Share the link
Use Copy Link and send it through whatever channel you are already in — email, chat, or a text message. A QR code is available too, so someone next to you can scan to join instantly from their phone.
Meet
Open the link yourself to enter the room. Quick Meetings are approval-free: participants who open the link join directly, without waiting for the host to admit them.
Guests join without an account
The share link is the entire barrier to entry. Guests join without a Quantum Club account — they open the link in a browser, enter a name (and optionally an email) so the room knows who they are, and they are in. There is no download, no signup, and no app.
This is what makes instant meetings work for people outside the platform: references, external advisors, or a candidate you have not formally added to a pipeline yet.
Treat the link as the key
Anyone with the link can join an approval-free Quick Meeting while it is active. Share it only with the people you intend to meet, and create a fresh meeting per conversation rather than reusing one link.
What instant meetings share with scheduled ones
Quick Meetings run on the same Quantum Meetings infrastructure as your scheduled interviews — the same in-browser room, controls, and quality.
