Club Sync requests
How Club Sync applications reach your pipeline, what the status on a job means, and how to handle candidates who arrive this way.
Club Sync brings strongly-matched members into your pipeline automatically, so a high-fit candidate reaches you without either side waiting on a manual step. The candidate is in full control of whether they take part — your job is to handle the applications that arrive.
How Club Sync applications reach you
When a role has Club Sync enabled, members whose match score clears their own threshold are applied to it on their behalf. Those applications land in the same pipeline as every other one, at the first stage, and are marked as Club Sync applications so their origin is clear. You advance, hold, and decline them with exactly the same controls and the same feedback discipline as any other candidate.
A Club Sync candidate is a real member who has opted in to be applied on their behalf — not a cold or scraped contact. They are presented to you with their profile and match factors, the same evidence you would see on a direct application.
The Club Sync status on a job
A job carries a Club Sync status that tells you where it stands:
- Not offered — the default; Club Sync is not active on this role.
- Pending — Club Sync has been requested for the role and is awaiting review.
- Accepted — Club Sync is active; matched members can be applied to the role.
- Declined — the request was not approved.
When a role is accepted, it shows a Club Sync badge across your jobs views, so you can tell at a glance which roles are receiving Club Sync applications.
Handling the candidates
Treat Club Sync applications as you treat the rest of your pipeline. Review them against the role, advance the ones that fit, and decline the ones that do not with structured feedback. The member sees the same status and feedback they would on any application, so a clear, prompt response serves both sides.
