In the meeting
Use the tools inside a Quantum Meetings room — polls, Q&A, whiteboard, captions, live translation, and reactions — without leaving the call.
Once you are in the room, the conversation is not the only thing happening. A Quantum Meetings room carries a set of tools for participating beyond your microphone — vote, ask, draw, read along, and react, all in the same window.
Polls
When the host runs a poll, it appears in the room for you to answer. Open the poll, choose your option, and submit — your vote is counted live, and results can be shown back to the room as a chart. Polls are a quick way to read the room without everyone talking over each other.
Q&A
Questions have their own channel so they do not get lost in the conversation. Use the Q&A panel to post a question, which the host can address in turn rather than tracking who raised what verbally. It keeps a clear queue in a larger session where speaking up is harder.
Whiteboard
The room includes a shared whiteboard for when words are not enough. Open the whiteboard to sketch a diagram, map a flow, or work through a problem visually with the other participants, all on the same canvas in real time.
Live captions
Turn on captions to read what is being said as it is spoken. Captions transcribe the conversation live on screen — useful in a noisy environment, on a weak connection, or any time reading along is easier than listening.
Captions are a live aid, not the saved transcript
On-screen captions help you follow the call as it happens. The searchable transcript you review afterward is produced separately from the recording — see After the meeting.
Live translation
When you and another participant do not share a first language, live translation bridges it. The room can translate the conversation so each person can follow along in a language they read comfortably, rather than the meeting defaulting to whoever is most fluent in one tongue.
Reactions
React without interrupting. Send an emoji reaction and it appears on screen for everyone — a quick way to agree, applaud, or signal you have a point without unmuting and cutting across the speaker.
What you do not need to set up
These tools live in the room you are already in. There is nothing to install and no separate app — the room runs in your browser, and each tool opens in a panel beside the video. The host enables the ones a given meeting uses, so you may not see every tool in every call.
